Cleverherd is a new community where professionals, entrepreneurs and backers team up — to find work together, form teams, build new ideas and share in what they create. We’re just getting started, and early members help shape it.
Designers who can't find work. Developers with ideas they can't sell. Salespeople who can close but have nothing to close. Marketers who can create demand but have nothing of their own to market.
Meanwhile, thousands of people have business ideas they can't execute alone.
Cleverherd connects those two problems. Instead of competing for opportunities one by one, members combine their skills, time and capital to build things none of them could build alone — and share in what they create.
Let’s create our first 10 paying projects together. We’re bringing together people with complementary skills to find real clients for the Cleverherd community — through business development, marketing, research, networking and outreach.
Joining doesn’t guarantee compensation, commissions or ownership. Any paid or ownership-related work is agreed separately, in writing, before it begins.
Start wherever you are — looking for work, looking for people, or looking to build. Every part shares the same profile, the same teams and the same workspace.
A professional network built on skills and availability — not followers.
Form a team around a client project or a new venture, then run it in one place.
Share an idea, pressure-test it with the community and recruit a founding team.
Not a job board, a freelance board and a startup forum — one feed of real ways to put your skills to work, each with a clear next step.
Show early, non-binding support for ideas you believe in. Investment in proven ventures may come later — only through a regulated partner.
Find paid projects, join teams that need exactly what you do, and earn a stake in ventures you help build.
Skip the agency markup and the freelancer juggling. Describe the work — a real person reviews it and helps assemble a team around it.
Join the founding community, or bring us a project that needs a great team.
Tell us what you want to do and Cleverherd shapes itself around it — from a profile, to paid work, to a team, to a business you own part of.
One question after sign-up shapes everything you see. No need to learn the map first.
Projects move through clear stages. You can join at any point — as a contributor, a team member or a backer.
Someone shares a problem and a proposed solution. Members discuss, improve and raise their hands.
Interviews, landing pages, prototypes and small community contributions prove people actually want it.
A founding team forms and agrees on roles, commitments and ownership before work begins.
A working product, first customers and real evidence of demand. Some businesses never need more.
If the team agrees, the venture can raise a larger round from outside investors to scale.
Discover an idea, join its founding team, help build it — and own part of what you helped create.
See how Labs works →Paid projects, open roles, collaborations and startup seats — one place to put your skills to work, each with a clear next step.
These are examples, not live listings. On the platform, every listing is reviewed before it appears and states exactly how it pays: guaranteed, conditional, commission, revenue share, equity or unpaid.
Share an idea, pressure-test it with the community, recruit a founding team — and share ownership with the people who build it.
You don't need to know how to build it. Share the problem, let the community challenge it, and find the people who can make it real.
An intelligent home for your ideas.
Example figures only — not a real project. On Cleverherd, support is a non-binding indication of interest, not committed funds.
Teams agree on roles and ownership before work begins. Cleverherd keeps a transparent record of what everyone contributes — so commitments stay visible and agreements stay honest.
Figures are illustrative. Ownership is negotiated and documented in written agreements — never calculated automatically from hours. This view is informational, not a legal cap table.
Help early ideas get started with small contributions. When a venture has proven itself — and its team agrees — it can raise a larger round.
Two clearly separate ways to fund what's next — so supporting an idea is never confused with buying an investment.
You don't need all the skills, resources or money to build something great. You need the right people. Cleverherd exists to bring them together.
A herd usually means following. A clever herd is people who think independently — and know when working together gets them further.
Resourceful, creative, good at solving problems. The independent mind each member brings.
Collective movement, belonging and strength in numbers. The momentum we create together.
A network where members' success is shared — the more its people win, the more valuable it becomes.
Small — we’re just getting started. We’re building a founding community of professionals who want to work together, and our first initiative is to create ten paying projects as a group. We won’t pretend to be bigger than we are.
Yes. We won't charge people just to look for work. In future Cleverherd may earn a fee on completed client projects that businesses bring to the platform — we’ll be upfront about any fee before it applies.
Not automatically. Joining an initiative or workstream doesn’t guarantee compensation, commissions or ownership. When a paying project comes in, the people doing the work agree payment terms with the client in writing before work begins.
Each team agrees on roles, commitments and ownership before work starts, documented in written agreements that cover vesting, departures and intellectual property. Cleverherd records contributions transparently, but it never turns hours into a percentage automatically.
Not at all. Most members start by finding paid work or joining someone else's team. Labs is there whenever you want to share an idea — or join one worth pursuing.
No. Early projects can show non-binding interest from supporters — no money is collected. Equity investment would only ever be offered through an appropriately registered partner and in line with securities laws.
Submit a project with your goals, budget and timeline. A person on our team reviews every inquiry, gets back to you, and — if it’s a fit — helps assemble members with the right mix of skills. Scope, price and payment terms are agreed directly in writing before work begins.
That's exactly what upfront agreements and contribution records are for. Vesting and departure terms are set before work begins, so everyone knows what happens if commitments change.

Let’s create our first 10 paying projects together. Our first community initiative brings together people with complementary skills to generate real business for the Cleverherd community.
Most platforms start by promising a marketplace full of clients. We’re starting honestly: we have none yet. Instead of waiting for work to appear, members pool their skills to find it — through business development, marketing, research, networking and outreach — and then deliver it together.
The goal is ten paying projects. We’re starting from zero, and we’ll only count work that is confirmed and paid.
Joining the initiative or a workstream does not guarantee compensation, commissions or ownership. Contributions are recorded so effort stays visible, but they don’t automatically turn into pay or equity. Any paid or ownership-related work must be agreed separately, in writing, by the people involved before that work begins.
